Eileen Pfaff McClure

Mrs. Eileen Pfaff McClure, 79, of Forsyth County, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2025, surrounded by those who loved her.

Born and raised in Forsyth County, Eileen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and dear friend. She married the love of her life, Michael McClure Sr., and their bond was a shining example of love and commitment. Eileen’s heart was rooted in her family, and her joy came from spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she cherished above all.

She had a passion for family genealogy and spent countless hours researching her ancestry, preserving stories and photos through scrapbooking. Her warmth, creativity, and love for history left a meaningful legacy for generations to come. She was the epitome of hospitality, the magic maker. Her house was always filled with grandkids and overflowing with love and sheer chaos.

Eileen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael McClure Sr.; her parents, Ralph Pfaff and Thelma Shaw Pfaff; and her grandson, Jake Krebeck.

She is survived by her children, Michael McClure and Jennifer McClure Krebeck; her siblings, Susan Pfaff, Kathryn Bowman (James), and Benjamin Pfaff; grandchildren, Caitlin McClure, Jamie Gregory, Olivia McLean, Riley Krebeck, and Wyatt Krebeck; and great-grandchildren, Aubrey McLeod, Gideon McLean, Alanna English, Kinsley Gregory, and Micah McLean.

Eileen will be remembered for her unwavering love, gentle spirit, and the way she made everyone feel at home in her presence. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on June 20, 2025 at Bunker Hill United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Shallowford Presbyterian Church 1200 Lewisville Clemmonsville Road, Lewisville, NC 27023 in Eileen’s memory.
