Elease Dudney Holder

Mrs. Elease Dudney Holder, of Fayettville, NC, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Mrs. Holder was born September 22, 1930 to Troy and Louetta Watts Dudney. Elease was of the Baptist Faith. She was retired from Novant Health with many years of service. She enjoyed cooking and looking out for her family and friends. Preceding her in death were her husband's; first husband, Boyd Strickland, second husband, Vance Holder, a daughter; Judith Ann Flowers, two sons; Larry Boyd and Dewey Leon Strickland. She is survived by her two daughters; Patsy Hayes of Fayettville, Vicky Harp of Winston-Salem, four grandchildren; Clifton Hayes, Gregg Harp, Eleasa Harp, Ashley Strickland, two great-granddaughters; Cailin Barrett, Sydney Harp and one sister; Shirley Butler of Chadbourn. The funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Chapel Silas Creek, with Pastor Charlie Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel
