Elizabeth Ann Minter Marshall

Elizabeth Ann Minter Marshall, 90, of Lexington, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Mallard Ridge Assisted Living.

Mrs. Marshall was born March 10, 1935, in Forsyth County, to Cabel Charles Minter and Mary Elizabeth Willard Minter. 

In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Marshall; two brothers, Charles Minter, and Lewis Minter; one sister, Mary Wilson.

Left to cherish her memory are two sons, James “Jay” Marshall (Jodi), and Andy Marshall (Jenny); three daughters, Jennifer Herrin (Dwight), Laura Jane Styers (Harold), and Susan Marshall; six grandchildren, Megan Dolan (Melvin), Sarah Murr (Stephen), Jesse Styers (Stephanie), Andrew Daniels, Emily Butcher (Jon-Erik), and Sarah Quigley; five great-grandchildren, Chase Styers, Elias Styers, Wesley Butcher, Riley Butcher, and Elizabeth Dolan; three sisters, Martha Minnish, Becky Wassum, and Ellen Hines; and one brother, Billy Minter. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 12PM Monday, January 19, 2026, at Oak Grove Moravian Church with Pastor David Berrier officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the church.
