Elizabeth Susan Duncan Walbroehl

Sue was born to Sue Lell and James Duncan on February 17, 1951, in Asheville, NC. She graduated from A.C. Reynolds High School Asheville, 1968. She was preceded in death by her mother Sue Lell, Father James Duncan, Brother Jack Lell, and Grandparents Edgar and Lucy Hildebrand.

She worked for Panelfold Doors, City Gas, and Eastern Airlines as a gate agent, in Florida. She was also a ballroom dance instructor and a church secretary at North Point Baptist Church. She was a member at Gospel Light Baptist Church in Walkertown, NC. She enjoyed her “For The Love of Dobermans” Facebook group. She especially loved her Doberman “Kenzie”.

Sue is survived by her husband Ed Walbroehl of 49 years. Son David Stephenson (Husband Michael Stephenson) of Lake Port FL, Sister Pat Thompson of Ocala, FL, Aunt Betty McKee of Palm Beach, FL and numerous family and friends.

Sue passed away peacefully at the Kate B. Reynolds Trellis Hospice Home in Winston-Salem after a brief illness.

The family will have a private graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donate to The Kate B Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem in memory of Sue.
