Ellen Binkley

Mrs. Ellen Harrell Binkley, 69, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2019. She was born in Forsyth County on October 6, 1949 to Louise Miller Harrell. Ellen was a member of Trinity Moravian Church for 69 years. She was known to be like a mother to all the children at her church. Ellen worked as a CT Tech at Maplewood Imaging. She enjoyed volunteering at Greenest. Ellen was a three-time breast cancer survivor. She especially loved animals. Ellen leaves behind three precious cats, Joe, Callie, and Skeeter. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Clark. Surviving are her husband, Charlie Binkley; bonus daughters, Karliss and Charla Binkley; niece, Jamie Meares; brother-in-law, Ron Clark; god-sons, Robert and Ryan Myers; and lots of other loving family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Trinity Moravian Church with The Rev. John Jackman, The Rev. William McElveen, and The Rev. “Tripp” May officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Moravian Graveyard. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm prior to the service on Thursday.
