Ellen Terry Price Carlton

Ms. Ellen Terry Price Carlton, 69, of Winston-Salem, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born December 11, 1943 in Winston-Salem to the late Earl and Mary Bogle Price from Monroe, NC. Ellen graduated from Gray High School and Wake Forest University where she pursued a degree in psychology. Ellen was retired from Western Electric after 22 years of service and found new work for AMP/Tyco Electronics where she was in the plating department for 17 years. Ellen was married to Bobby Gray Carlton and they were blessed with a daughter, Leslie Michelle Hanna and a son, Robert Gray Carlton. She also has six loving grandchildren; Victoria, Sarah, Brittany, Heather, Caroline and Travis, and a brother, Phillip Price of Winston-Salem. Ellen loved planting in her garden and loved the New York Yankees. Go Yankees! Go Blue Devils! We will all miss her very much. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, August 3 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6:30 - 7:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the service.
