Elva Teague Miller

Mrs. Elva Teague Miller, 83, of Winston-Salem, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born July 8, 1930 in Forsyth County to Hobert Franklin and Bessie Newsome Teague. Mrs. Miller was a member of Advent Moravian Church. She was employed with McDonald's for 25 years. Surviving are her husband, James H. ""Jimmy"" Miller; one son, Terry Franklin Miller; one daughter, Susan Miller Yow (Al); four grandchildren, Amy, Chris, Josh, and Mandy; four great grandchildren, Katelyn, Emma, Skylar, and Emilynn; and two sisters, Earline Henderson (Bill) and Martha Ridings. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 13 at Advent Moravian Church with Dr. Tim Sapp officiating. Burial will follow in the church graveyard. The family will receive friends at their home. Memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
