Elvira Gentile

KERNERSVILLE - Elvira Ruscitti Gentile, 83, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Elvira was born on September 26, 1934 in Raiano, Italy to the late Peter and Domenica Ruscitti. Elvira was the most loving, caring, and generous person, who always put everyone above herself. She loved her husband and family and was the best wife, mother and grandmother that anyone could ask for.

Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Arcangelo Gentile; her daughter, Luigina "Lou" Zizzo (Dominic); her son, Anthony Gentile (Jennifer); and two grandchildren, Liliana Gentile and Jim Zizzo (Kristia).

A funeral mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Paul Dechant, O.S.F.S., officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, November 25, 2017, at Westminster Gardens in Greensboro.
