Emma Lee Yokeley Dunn

Mrs. Emma Lee Yokeley Dunn, 99, passed from this earth peacefully on Wednesday, January 18, 2017. She was born November 30, 1917, in Davidson County, NC to the late Frank and Odessa Sowers Yokeley, one of 12 children, and was married to the late O.W. Dunn. She retired as a beautician on her 92nd birthday. She was a graduate of Wallburg School, and was a faithful member of Pine Chapel Moravian Church. She is survived by her son, Timothy W. Dunn (Becky), a sister, Sara Lou McCrary of Lexington, a number of nieces and nephews, a special niece, Mrs. Janet Freeman and a special person, Mrs. Anna Beeson. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 21, 2017, at Parklawn Memorial Park with Rev. James Demby officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Friday, January 20, 2017, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pine Chapel Moravian Church, 324 Goldfloss Street, Winston-Salem, 27107, or a charity of the donor's choice.
