Eric Manuel Key

Mr. Eric Manuel Key, 60, of Winston-Salem, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born on May 13, 1954 in Forsyth County to Virgil Manuel Key and Helen Tilley Key. Eric enjoyed motorcycles, muscle cars, walking and lifting weights. He loved Jesus and his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil. He is survived by his mother; sister, Zelda Key Colbert and husband Phillip of East Bend; niece, Shannon Colbert Knight and husband Clint of Lewisville; nephew, Andrew Colbert; best friend, Robert Webb; special cousin, Donna Easter; a host of other aunts, uncles, and cousins. A funeral service will be conducted 1:30 PM Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Rev. Mark Elmore and Rev. Adam Street officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friend from 12:30PM until 1:30PM Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103. The family would like to thank the staff at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home for the loving care shown to Eric.
