Ernest "Ernie" Wright, III

Ernest “Ernie” Herbert Wright, III, also known as Squirrel, of Charlotte, NC, passed away, Sunday, July 21, 2024. He was born in Sharon, CT to Ernest Herbert Wright, Jr. and Karen Card Gentile. Ernie was a great auto body man who worked many years at Ray’s Body Shop and Spaugh Motor Company. He had a great sense of humor who loved to tell stories, gardening and camping. Surviving are his five children, Gena Wright, Chris Wright, Lucas Wright, Colby Wright and Daniel Santillan; three siblings, John Gentile, Christy Huxley and Amanda Whitehead and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2024 at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel.
