Etta Sheets

Mrs. Etta Dunn Sheets, 77, of Winston-Salem passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born on March 28, 1940 in Forsyth County to Elmer and Pauline Davis Dunn. Mrs. Sheets retired from Landmark Builders as corporate secretary. She enjoyed camping, traveling, and spending time with those she loved. She was a caring and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mrs. Sheets is survived by her husband of 56 years, Bud Sheets; two daughters, Dana Sheets Radford and husband Jimmy, Teresa Terrell; five grandchildren, Kristin Stark, Caleb Russell, Cory Russell and wife Charity, Ryan Graves, and Paula Radford; two great grandsons, Alex and Tyson Steele; one sister, Louise Hart and husband Tom; one brother, Avery Dunn and wife Elizabeth. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Jerry Webb officiating. A private family committal service will follow. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
