Eugene James Ruminski

         Mr. Eugene James Ruminski, 71, of Winston- Salem, NC passed away Thursday, December 25, 2025 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born March 14, 1954, in Pontiac, Michigan to Joseph Isidore Ruminski and Anastasia Lamparski Ruminski. Eugene worked at Taracorp in Winston Salem, NC for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, NASCAR, Carolina Panther games and traveling. He was preceded in death by his parents and a niece, Cindy Phelan. Surviving are his loving brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Jane Ruminski; a nephew, Greg Ruminski (Ann), Cindy’s husband, Joe; four great nephews Jacob Ruminski, Zachary Ruminski, Braeden Phelan and Dalten Phelan; two great nieces, Arielle Phelan and Cianna Phelan and a special cousin, Ceci Griffin. He lived at the Ebert Group Home in Winston Salem, NC where he was lovingly cared for by Debra Warren and Charlene Warren and staff. 
         A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January, 22, 2026 at Old Town Baptist Church. Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel is serving the Ruminski family.
