Eugene "Gene" Gray Williams

Mr. Eugene ""Gene"" Gray Williams, 77 of Clemmons, North Carolina passed away, Friday, October 21, 2016 at his home and surrounded by his family.

Eugene was born on September 9, 1939 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to Norwood E. and Elizabeth (Warden) Williams. He graduated from Glen High School and from Catawba College in 1960. He married the former Doris Zimmerman. Eugene served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged. He was employed as a Project Manager with RJ Reynolds. He enjoyed gardening and playing with his best friend and dog, Bosley.

Eugene is survived by his wife, Doris Zimmerman Williams of Clemmons, NC; two sons, Kenneth Gray Williams of Advance NC; Michael Van Williams of Clemmons, NC; one grandchild, Courtney B. Williams of Winston-Salem, NC; his sisters Nancy Biggers of Charlotte, NC; and Jan Quisenberry of Advance, NC; his brother, Jim Williams of King, NC and several nieces and nephews, as well as his dog, Bosley Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norwood and Elizabeth Williams.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
