Eunice Jessup Marion

Mrs. Eunice Jessup Marion, 96, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 22, 2024, at Trinity Elms. She was born on December 8, 1927, in Surry County to Eulysis and Ila Jessup. 

In addition to her parents, Eunice was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, James “Jim” Louis Marion; her daughter, Deborah Sue Marion; great granddaughter, Chyler Huebner; and two siblings, Bobby Jessup and Nancy Gorley.

She is survived by two sons, Ronald Louis Marion (wife, Vickie) and James Dennis Marion (wife, Susie); two grandchildren, Nikki Huebner(husband, John) and Dustin Johnson(wife, Jennifer); six great grandchildren, Lauchlin Huebner, Davitt Huebner, and Stratton Huebner and Chase Johnson, Luke Johnson, and Jacob Johnson; and one sister, Janie Draughn; two step grandchildren, Brandon Hunter (wife, Jessica), Dustin Hunter; two step great grandchildren, Charlie Hunter and Amelia Hunter.

Eunice was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.  She was well known for excellent cooking skills and her kind, giving heart.  To know Eunice was to love her, and there is no doubt that she will be sorely missed by everyone.

A private graveside service for Eunice will be held at Mt. Gur Cemetery with Pastor Dan Hipply officiating. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
