Eva Naomi Brooks Fisher

Eva Naomi Brooks Fisher 87, of Winston-Salem, passed away Thursday September 8, 2016 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born on April 10, 1929 in Zanesville, Ohio to Everett and Lucille Brooks. Mrs. Fisher was a member of the Community Christian Church in Lexington, NC. She retired from College Park Hospital in San Diego, California, where she was head of housekeeping for 20 plus years and then relocated to North Carolina to be closer to her son, Jeff Fisher. She then embarked on a new career as a cosmetologist. Mrs. Fisher was preceded in death by a brother Jack Brooks and a son Dennis Fisher. She is survived by a daughter Marla Wilson of South Carolina, three sons Steven Fisher and wife Donna of Tennessee, Jeff Fisher and wife Becky of Lexington, and Bill Fisher and wife Wendy of Winston-Salem, 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and a brother Charles Brooks and wife Maxine of Ohio. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Matthew Sink officiating.
