Ms. Evelyn M. Browning, 89, of Winston-Salem passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born September 23, 1924 in Pennsylvania County, VA. to Timothy A. and Percie Casstevens Murphy. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Surviving are a son, Stephen S. Browning (Gerry); 3 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; a special niece, Kathy Van Sutphin (Doug), and several other nieces and nephews. Per her request there will be no formal funeral services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, W-S, N.C. 27103. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com
