Evelyn Caudle Langford

We are saddened to announce the passing of Mrs. Evelyn Grey Caudle Langford, 94, of Mocksville. She passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born May 23, 1922 in Davie County to Robert Lewis and Reba Allen Caudle. Mrs. Langford retired from Hanes Hosiery with 35 years of service and was a member of Petree Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Langford and a daughter, Beverly Jean Langford. Surviving are five generations, her son, Rick Langford; a daughter, Carolyn Doss-Loflin; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; a brother, John Henry Caudle; a sister, Lelia Mae Smith and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at Noon, on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel with Pastor Chris Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Mocksville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
