Evelyn Royall Wilson

Mrs. Evelyn Royall Wilson, 87 of Winston-Salem died Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born March 9, 1926 in Yadkin County, the daughter of the late, Henry and Pearl Mahathy Royall. Mrs. Wilson retired from Bilt-Rite Venetian Blind Company following 17 years of service. She was of the Baptist Faith. She loved playing Bingo and enjoyed sitting in her rocking chair on the porch talking with her neighbors and family. She also loved to travel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Wilson, Sr. Survivors include two daughters, Mary W. Rojas and Becky W. Hartless ; two sons, James R. Wilson, Jr., (Bonnie) and Randy K. Wilson, ( Marlo) grandchildren, Kendall Craig Hartless and ( Michelle) and Carly Ann Wilson Logan, Taylor , Lee , Shannon and Hailey ; 7 great grandchildren. one sister, Betty Tilley , one brother, Clarence Royall . A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 PM at Parklawn Memorial Park Chapel of Memories with Rev. Charles Mc Frederick officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, 430 West Friendly Ave., Greensboro, NC 27401.
