Everett Ellis Clark, age 96 years, passed away on December 14, 2025. Mr. Clark was born July 16, 1929, in Brooklyn, New York, the second son of Edson E. and Muriel E. (O’Donnell) Clark. He was graduated cum laude both from Adelphi Academy in Brooklyn, N.Y. (1947) and then from Amherst College (1951). In June 1954 he was graduated from The Yale Law School, was admitted to the Connecticut Bar and then was commissioned a 1st Lieutenant in the USAF, serving during 1955 and 1956 as a Judge Advocate at March AFB in Riverside, California. In February 1957 he joined the Law Department of Connecticut General Life Insurance Company (now a part of CIGNA Corporation) and retired in 1989. He married Ursula “Su” (Field), in 1958.They lived in Simsbury, Connecticut until 1993. In 1993 he and Su retired to a home they had built on Lake Keowee near Seneca, South Carolina. In 2000 they moved to University Park Country Club, Sarasota, Florida and in 2007 to Bermuda Village Retirement Community located just west of Winston-Salem, NC. He is survived by their son, Everett Ellsworth Clark living in Tiburon, California, by their two daughters, The Rev. Dr. Ellen Clark Clemot and her husband, Andre-Louis Clemot, living in Princeton, NJ and Elizabeth Clark Dilling and her husband, Robert Dilling, living in Stow, Massachusetts, and by their two granddaughters, Annabelle Lee Clemot and Amelie Jo Clemot. A Memorial Service will be held in Bermuda Village on a later date. Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel is serving the Clark family.
