Mr. Everette Lee ""Plowboy"" McGee passed away Monday, November 3, 2014 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home while surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born June 5, 1943 in Forsyth County to the late Everette Odell McGee and Ruby Joyner McGee. Mr. McGee retired from R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company with over 27 years of service. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, brother, and uncle. Mr. McGee will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Mr. McGee was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Barbara Bowles McGee; and one sister, Patricia Ann Childress. Surviving are his two daughters, Trina McGee Brown (Mark) of Sumter, SC and Pamela Ann Reyes of Tobaccoville; two sons, Everette Deuran McGee (Nancy) and Franklin James Shouse, Jr. of Winston-Salem; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Aletha Westmoreland (Bobby) of Clemmons; and one brother, Phillip McGee (Judy) of Winston-Salem.

A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 8 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with the Rev. Tim Gammons officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
