Fay Jean Alsobrooks McGinnis

Mrs. Fay Jean Alsobrooks McGinnis, 82, of Pilot Mountain passed away Monday, December 17 at her home. She was born on August 14, 1930 in Rowan County to the late Carlie Monroe Alsobrooks and Mary Eva Abernathy Alsobrooks. Mrs. McGinnis worked many years in the food service industry and as a caregiver. Mrs. McGinnis is survived by one daughter, Trina Langdon; one son, Michael McGinnis; one grandson all of CA; and special friends: Ransom, Justin and Misty Tew of Pilot Mountain. A graveside service will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 19 at Pinnacle Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. D.C. Collins officiating. There will be no formal visitation. Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall is assisting the family with arrangements.
