Mrs. Alice Faye Craddock Fulk, 77, of Pinnacle, died Friday, July 3, 2026 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center following a brief illness.
Faye, as she was fondly known, was born in Surry County to the late James Alvis and Josephine Collins Craddock on February 22, 1949. She graduated from North Stokes High School and attended Forsyth Technical Community College. She retired from Stokes Reynolds Memorial Hospital in 2013 after 20 years of service as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Faye loved her job and the care she gave to each patient. She enjoyed her morning coffee, crocheting, sewing, cooking, shopping at Hamrick’s and spending time with her family. After the passing of her husband, she moved to the Shoals Community to live with her daughter and son-in-law which brought her tremendous happiness.
She is preceded in death by her husband William Younger Fulk; parents Alvis and Josephine Collins Craddock; and brother, James Jimmy Craddock.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Amy Fulk Inman and husband Jason, two nieces, Melinda Hughes and Betty Higgins along with several cousins and her favorite fur baby, Ava.
The family will receive friends at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel at 5:00 PM Tuesday, July 7, 2026. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Pastor Dwayne Young will officiate. Private burial will be in Cedar Falls Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in the Moore's Springs community. Memorials may be made to Friends of Stokes Shelter, 1111 Dodgetown Road, Walnut Cove, NC 27052.
