Faye Shular Holland

Walkertown - Faye Beatrice Shular Holland, 73, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 1, 2016 from injuries sustained in an auto accident. Faye was born on August 24, 1943 in Guilford County to William Albert and Margaret Patterson Shular. Faye was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church for over 48 years, faithfully serving in the Church's Bus Ministry for 36 years.

In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her husband, James ""Jim"" Holland, Jr.

Surviving are her daughters, Lisa Blackburn (husband, Jeff), Debbie Willard (husband, Steve), and Kim Holland; four grandchildren, Stephanie Lay, Rex Blackburn, Matthew Willard, and Meghan Pearl Howell; one great grandchild, Jake Sawyer Lay; and seven sisters, Margaret Adkins, Mary Gregory, Norma Pratt, Bernice Johnson, Dora Oliver, Betty Webster and Marie Howard; two brothers, Curtis and William ""Bill"" Shular.

A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, September 4, 2016 at Gospel Light Baptist Church with Dr. Bobby Roberson and Bro. Tim Hicks officiating. Burial will follow at Gospel Light Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Saturday, September 3, at the church.

Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
