Faye Bondurant Kapp, 80, passed away peacefully at home in Mocksville, North Carolina, on August 2, 2025, surrounded by family. She battled cancer for 20 years with strength, grace, and faith.
Faye was born in Greensboro on March 10, 1945, to Elva Vaden Bondurant and Frank Martain Bondurant. She spent her life in North Carolina, building a close-knit community of family and friends.
As the owner and operator of Accessory Decorating, Ltd., and a longtime gardener and “fashionista,” Faye brought vibrance and beauty everywhere she went. More than anything, she brought people together. She loved hosting, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and filling her home with laughter, conversation, and good food. She lived with intention, confidence, and deep love for the people around her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Wayne Kapp; her son-in-law, Samson Prysiazniuk Jr.; her sister, Barbara Fuqua; and her parents.
She is survived by her daughter, Kristina Kapp Prysiazniuk; her son, Wesley Adam Kapp, and his fiancée, Lauren Jenkins; her grandchildren, Logan Prysiazniuk and her fiancé, Sam Helwig, Parker Prysiazniuk, Tyson and Sutton Kapp, and Brayden Jenkins, and her brother, Lanny Bondurant. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, including Cheryl Grosjean, who was one of the closest people in her life, as well as Pam Phillips and Brent Fuqua, who she held especially dear.
A celebration of life will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, August 6, at her residence in Mocksville. All are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society of Davie County.
