Faye Manuel

KERNERSVILLE – Faye Osborne Manuel, 92, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Faye was born on December 13, 1930 in Forsyth County to Lee and Fannie Winters Osborne. She was a member of Sedge Garden United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Manuel Class. Faye shared her love for music by singing in the Chancel Choir for over 30 years and taught Childrens Sunday School.  She was a faithful woman to God and was loved by many.

Faye had a strong love for her family, taking care of her children, as well as others in the community. She loved to read and could often be found on her front porch with a good book, a sandwich and her sweet tea, enjoying the nature around her.

In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Manuel; a daughter, Jill Roberts; one brother, Danny Osborne; and one sister, Betty Barrow.

Surviving are two daughters, Tracy Manuel and Lea Flynn (Rick); one grandson, Mike Roberts; a sister, Nancy Vanhoy (Gene); her son-in-law, Harry Roberts; and many loving nieces and nephews and extended family.

A funeral service will be held at  2:00 p.m. Friday, September 15, 2023 at Sedge Garden United Methodist with Pastor Dan Hester and Rev. Phil Bauguess officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
