Faye Redmon

Faye Sutliff Redmon, 92, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away on February 20, 2022. Faye was born on June 10, 1929, in Leaksville, NC, to the late Isaac and Lottie Mae Sutliff. Faye worked as a teacher at various schools in North Carolina. She and her husband, Harold, raised four sons. She loved teaching, collecting Zane Grey novels, was an avid birdwatcher, and a traveler who visited all 50 states with her husband. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harold; two sisters, Leone Patterson, and Frances Burton; three brothers, Herman Sutliff, John Sutliff, and Garvin Sutliff; and one son, Matthew Redmon. Faye is survived by three sons, Mark (Katrina), Michael, and Miles (Lori Lynn); two grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 26th at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, 2575 Parkway Drive, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Inurnment and reception will follow the service. Memorial donations may be given in Faye's memory to the charity of your choice.
