Kernersville – Ms. Faye Marshall Smith, 87, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Kerner Ridge Assisted Living. She was born in Forsyth County, March 9, 1932 to the late Raymond and Helen Farrington Marshall. Faye was a member of Kernersville Friends Meeting and loved to sing in the choir at church, she also loved to help decorate the church and Kerner Ridge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin brother, Ray Marshall and sister, Vallendar Stafford. Surviving are; a daughter, Beth Muter and husband John, a grandson, Zack Binkley and wife Samantha, one great grandchild, Caelynne Binkley and her brother, Jack Marshall and wife Margaret and her very special Aunt Nettie Hester. The service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, June 14, 2019 at Kernersville Friends Meeting by Pastor Jeff Barnes. A dessert social will immediately follow the service in the church fellowship hall. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 1:45 PM prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Trellis Supportive Care 101 Hospice Lane Winston Salem, NC 27103.
