Faye Stafford

Mrs. Faye Stone Stafford, 86, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at Forsyth Medical Center. Faye was born in Pilot Mountain, on June 3, 1932, to Caleb and Cleo Stone. She was a member of Calvary Baptist for over 30 years and dedicated to her church and faith. She loved her children and adored her grandchildren. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant twin sister. Surviving are three sons, Al Stafford (wife Susan), Marty Stafford, and Brian Stafford (wife Caroline); four grandchildren, Bill Stafford, Jay Stafford, Lauren Stafford, and Dan Stafford; and one brother, Larry Stone (wife Sharon). A memorial service will be held at 2pm on June 15, 2019, at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Gary Byrum officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 5000 Country Club Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27104.
