Felicitas Rios

Winston-Salem- Mrs. Felicitas Ernestina Rios, 88, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2019 at her residence.  She was born May 30, 1931 in Arequipa, Peru the daughter of Teofilo Rios Pena and Cristina Sotomayor.  She was a member of El Aposento Alto Wesleyan Church and was a retired nurse from Edgardo Rebagliati Hospital with over 30 years of service.  She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Nohemi and Frida.  Survivors include her children, Tomas Manchego (Marina) and Amelia Manchego; three grandchildren, Joel (Gabriela), John David (Claudia) and Isabel (Ricardo); five great grandchildren, Nathan, Allison, Sophia, Lucas and Camila; her brothers, Jesus and Ruben and her sisters, Dina and Betsabe.  A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, September 18, 2019 in Mt. Gur Cemetery with Pastor Enrique Alcantara officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.  Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com

Winston-Salem- La Sra. Felicitas Ernestina Ríos, de 88 años, falleció el domingo 15 de septiembre de 2019 en su residencia. Nació el 30 de mayo de 1931 en Arequipa, Perú, hija de Teófilo Ríos Peña y Cristina Sotomayor. Era miembro de El Aposento Alto Wesleyan Church y era una enfermera jubilada del Hospital Edgardo Rebagliati con más de 30 años de servicio. Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres y dos hermanas, Nohemi y Frida. Los sobrevivientes incluyen a sus hijos, Tomas Manchego (Marina) y Amelia Manchego; tres nietos, Joel (Gabriela), John David (Claudia) e Isabel (Ricardo); cinco bisnietos, Nathan, Allison, Sophia, Lucas y Camila; sus hermanos, Jesús y Rubén y sus hermanas, Dina y Betsabe. Un servicio junto a la tumba se llevará a cabo a las 3:00 PM el miércoles 18 de septiembre de 2019 en el  cementerio de Monte Gur con el pastor Enrique Alcántara oficiando.
