Florence Saar

Mrs. Florence Jean Otto Saar, 77, of Winston-Salem passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019 at her residence. Florence was born in Suffolk County, New York to the late Stanley L. Otto and Florence OShaughnessy. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and gardening. Florence also loved going to the beach and watching birds. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by a brother Walter Otto. She is survived by her loving husband, William Saar; children, Robert Saar and wife Maryanne; Richie Saar and Maryann Paynoney; six grandchildren; brothers, James Otto; Lawrence Otto; sisters, Judy Kaikaka and Deborah Orban; and her special four legged friend Ollie. A memorial will be held at St. Andrews Church, New York at a later date.
