Forrest Marshall Browning, Jr.

Forrest Marshall Browning, Jr. passed away on April 24, 2024, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. Marshall was born on December 28, 1939, to Forrest Marshall Browning, Sr. and Beatrice Ackison Browning in Logan, WV. He carried on the family business, Stollings Auto Parts in Logan. He also traveled the world as an avid marksman and shooter. In addition to his parents, Marshall was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Browning. Surviving are his wife, Elaine Call Browning; daughter, Kimberly Higgins and son-in-law, Chad Higgins; daughter, Laura Browning (Chris Lushbaugh); and great grandchildren, Harlie and Shelby Daniels. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM, Monday, April 29, 2024, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Chaplain Drew Southern officiating. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Logan, WV. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Woltz Hospice Home. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com
