WINSTON-SALEM-Mrs. Frances Creola Pope Hill, 90, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at her home. Mrs. Hill was born on April 27, 1923 in Forsyth County to the late Clyde Ernest Pope and Glennie Myers Pope. She was a member of Hopewell Moravian Church. Frances always took pride in winning numerous ribbons in Floriculture at the Dixie Classic Fair. Preceding Mrs. Hill in death along with her parents was her husband, John W. Hill, Jr.; daughter, Glynda Hill Feezor and a brother, Harold S. Pope. Mrs. Hill is survived by her son, Tony Hill of Winston-Salem; grandchildren, Brian Feezor (Amy) of Lexington, NC, David Feezor (Lizz) of Winston-Salem, Adam Hill and Emily Hill; great-grandchildren, Molly Frances Feezor, Everett James Feezor and Gretchen Sue Feezor; two sisters, Wilma Mae Culler of Clemmons, NC and Sylvia Lea Hough of Greensboro, NC; and numerous other loving relatives. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 3, 2014 at Parklawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Advent/Hopewell Moravian Church Band Fund, 1514 W. Clemmonsville Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27127.
