Frances A. Tkach

Mrs. Frances Anne Chaffin Tkach, age 70 of Clemmons, died Saturday, December 6, 2008 at her home. She was born on July 9, 1938 in Cumberland County to the late Albert and Ruby Starling Chaffin. Mrs. Tkach was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Her parents, one daughter, Valerie Harris and a sister, Althea LeGrand preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Edward M. Tkach, Sr. of the home; six children, Debbie Lowdermilk (Gray) of Mocksville, Edward M. Tkach, Jr. of Buffalo, NY, Albert G. Tkach (Donna) of Advance, Frankie A. Starnes (James) of High Rock Lake, David A. Tkach (Paula) of Mocksville and Cliff B. Tkach (Renae) also of Mocksville; 11 grandchildren, Will, Ben and Kelly Lowdermilk, Heather Vestal, Sterling Tkach and Brandy Shore, Kaylee and Ashlee Trivette, Jesse and Emmie Tkach and Adam Ridenhour; one great grandson, Aiyden Vestal and a special friend, David D'Amico. A memorial mass will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at Holy Family Catholic Church. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
