Francine Leffler

Francine Tuck Leffler, 89, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away peacefully at home Friday, October 20, 2017. She was born in Chase City, VA to Ernest Tuck and Frances Carver Tuck.
She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil W. Leffler of Winston-Salem, NC, a brother Robert Tuck of Myrtle Beach, a brother Donald Tuck of Winston-Salem, NC, a son-in-law, Royle Fox of Louisburg NC and 2 granddaughters; Cynthia Reekes of Winston-Salem, NC and Samantha Fox of Louisburg, NC.
Left to cherish her memory are her 4 children, Clyde P. Reekes, Jr.(Rachel) of Winston-Salem, NC, Carol Reekes Fox of Louisburg, NC, Celia (Ceedi) Leffler of Winston-Salem, NC and Linda Leffler Pittman of Winston-Salem NC. Also 3 grandchildren, Angela Kaye Reekes of Clemmons, NC, Brandon Doyle Tucker (Melanie) of Garner, NC, and Stephanie Pittman Princip (Michael) of Winston-Salem, NC; 6 great grandchildren; three brothers, Ronnie Tuck of Winston-Salem, Buddy Tuck of Winston-Salem, and Frankie Tuck of Wake Forest; and one sister, Susie Vaughan of Youngsville.
Francine was a friend to many and beloved by all who knew her. She was dedicated to her career at Western Electric, (Reynolda Rd, and Old Lexington Rd) from 1955 until retirement in 1985.
She loved her family, reading and swimming at the local YMCA all the way up until this year. She was very giving and loved to travel. She will be missed by all.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Hospice staff, as well as Rose Hinson and Richard Lovett for the loving care the gave to Francine.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:30pm on Sunday, October 22, 2017, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Bob McCaskill officiating. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
