LEWISVILLE- Mr. Francis Charles Livengood, 83, passed away December 7, 2013 at his residence. He was born November 5, 1930 in Forsyth County to the late Walter Lee Livengood and Annie Wood Livengood. Mr. Livengood was a member of Clemmons United Methodist Church. He retired from Piedmont Airlines with over 30 years of dedicated service. He was preceded in death by his son, Charles Ned Livengood; his sisters, Estelle Beckner, Carrie Shields, Nora Ketner, Frankie Campbell, and Iretha Sowers; his brothers, Marvin, Carl, and Arthur Livengood. Mr. Livengood is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Ruth Anne Livengood; a daughter, Debbie Miller and husband Fred of Newton; two grandchildren, Hope Greene and husband Matt of Raleigh and Riane Miller and fiancée Travis Bolin of Irmo, SC; a great-grandson, Samuel David Greene; a sister, Louella Davis and a brother, Raymond Livengood and wife Frances both of Winston-Salem. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Clemmons United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. J. Matthew Burton, Jr. and the Rev. Paula Northrup officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00 pm on Monday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Memorials may be made to Habitat for Humanity, Clemmons United Methodist Church, or Hospice & Palliative Care.
