Frank Anton Majcen

Frank Anton Majcen, at 100 years of age, passed away at his home on May 6, 2024. He was born on April 3, 1924, to Louis Majcen and Stephanie Hainczl Majcen in Chicago, IL.  Frank proudly served during WWII in the Eighth Air Force. Based in Lavenham, England, he participated in the 487th Bomb Group and 838th Bomb Squad from 1943-1945. Frank was a member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. Frank was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Valene “Dottie” Finck Majcen. Surviving are his son, Terry Majcen; daughters, Linda McKnight (Pete), Susan Majcen, and Jami Kielhack (Lewis); grandchildren, Shannen Majcen (Ash Leigh), and Kymberlee Londo; and great granddaughter, Jordan Majcen.
