Frank Calloway

Mr. Frank Wesley Calloway, age 81, passed away Monday, December 16, 2019.  He was born May 6, 1938 in Watauga County to the late Julius Calloway and Sabrey Presley Calloway.  He retired from Hanes Hosiery with 20+ years of service.  He was a member of Freedom Baptist Church over 50 years.  He was a loving, kind man who loved the Lord, his family, and church friends.  He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dorothy Harrison Calloway; one daughter, Retha Tyree; two grandchildren, Jesse Tyree and Felicia Tyree; two great-grandchildren, Luke Tucker and Klay Harris; one brother; and one sister.  A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 20, at Freedom Baptist Church with Pastor Clint Fredericks and Rev. John T. Byerly officiating.  Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:50 P.M. at the church.  Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
