Frank Fox

Mr. Frank Garland Fox, 70, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Frank was born on April 4, 1948 to Garland O. and Ruth Boggs Fox in Iredell County, NC. He grew up in Statesville, NC and graduated from Statesville High School. After which he was drafted to the Army and he served in Vietnam. Frank attended Catawba Tech and began his career as a tool maker. He relocated to Kernersville after he was hired by AMP. Frank continued to work for AMP/Tyco Electronics for 29 years. He married Diane Fritts in 1987. Frank enjoyed bowling; he played on numerous leagues over the years, he also enjoyed fishing and doing activities with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his sister, Virginia Daniels. He is survived by his loving wife, Diane Fox; two daughters, Kelly Fox Vanderford (husband, Jon) and Candice Smith (husband, Jeremy); four grandchildren, Lydia, Brandon, Melina, and Chelsea; and two great grandchildren.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the Comprehensive Cancer Center at Baptist Hospital as well as to the Valet men there and to those at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.

A graveside service for Frank will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory in Kernersville. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
