Frankie Livengood Campbell

Mrs. Frankie Livengood Campbell, 97, passed away October 12, 2013 at Winston-Salem Nursing and Rehab. Frankie was born February 15, 1916 in Forsyth Country to Walter Lee and Annie Woods Livengood. She was a member of Messiah Moravian Church. She retired in 1980 from Anchor Department Store in Winston-Salem as head of the Receiving and marking Department. Frankie lived at Vienna Village Assisted Living in Pfafftown, NC from December 8, 2009 until February 1, 2013 and at Winston-Salem Healthcare until her passing on October 12. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harry Campbell and daughter, Mrs. Judy C. Bowles of Nesbit, MS. She was also preceded in death by sisters Estelle Beckner, Carrie Shields, Nora Ketner and Iretha Sowers, and brothers Marvin, Carl and Rev. Arthur Livengood. Surviving is one son, Henry L. Campbell and wife Tommye. Six grandchildren: Misty Burnette (Mike), Raleigh NC, Lee Campbell (Beth), Mocksville NC, Karen Smith, Lewisville NC, Sherree Baskette, Smyrna TN, Chandra Shearon, Horn Lake, MS and Alex Bowles (Kelley), Horn Lake, MS. Son-in-law Larry Bowles, Nesbit, MS. Nine great-grandchildren, Brian and Chelsea Burnette, Raleigh, NC, Justin and Jacob Campbell, Mocksville, NC, Kasha Willis, Levernge, TN, Kasey Pinkelton, Horn Lake, MS, Megan Shearon, Franklin, TN, Nicholas and Emily Bowles, Horn Lake, MS. Two great-great-grandchildren Brendan and Taylor Willis, Levernge, TN; Sister Louella Davis of Winston-Salem, NC, and brothers Raymond Livengood of Winston-Salem, NC and Francis Livengood of Lewisville, NC. There will be a graveside service at 2:00 PM Tuesday October 15, 2013 at Salem Moravian Graveyard with the Rev. Truman Dunn officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Messiah Moravian Church, Vienna Village Assisted Living or to an organization of choice. The family wishes to especially thank the staff of Vienna Village Assisted Living and Winston-Salem Healthcare for the loving care they provided to Frankie and family.
