Frankie Spainhour Caudle

Mrs. Frankie Spainhour Caudle, 101, passed away on August 4, 2016. She was born on April 20, 1915 in Forsyth County to Charles and Lula B. Spainhour. Mrs. Caudle was retired from Western Electric, and a lifelong member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Zeal Caudle; a son, Harry Caudle and one brother Clifton ""Bill"" Spainhour. Frankie is survived by her son, David Caudle (Ann) of Wilmington; two granddaughters, Kim Stafford (Mike), Kristia Thiry (Craig); Five grandchildren, Sara, Kate and David Stafford, Corey and Kaylin Thiry, all of Wilmington, NC; one sister, Ethel Nail; one brother, Curtis Spainhour (Helen) of Winston-Salem, and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday August 6, 2016 at Pine Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Marilyn Weiler. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be may to Pine Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 1130 Jonestown Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
