Fred "Nick" Conrad

Mr. Fred Allen ""Nick"" Conrad, 93, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017. He was born in Forsyth County on August 20, 1923 to the late Omer Carless and Fannie Fulk Conrad. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and he served during WWII. Nick retired as a builder and was a partner with Strebeck-Conrad Oil Co. He was a member of Lewisville Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. Preceding him in death was his wife, Grace Davis Conrad; daughter, Rita Conrad Pullman; sister, Laura Conrad Huffman and a brother, Transou Conrad. Surviving is a granddaughter, Tara Pullman; grandson, William Pullman III; son-in-law, William Pullman, Jr.; special nephews, Wayne Huffman and Bob Huffman; special sister-in-law, Linda Stimpson; also surviving are several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Lewisville Baptist Church with Dr. George Smith and Rev. Robert E. Huffman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
