Fred Holder

Mr. Fred Wayne Holder, 69, passed away May 23, 2018 at his residence. He was born August 11, 1948 in Forsyth County to the late James William Holder, Sr. and Velnia Needham Holder. Fred was involved in and refereed sporting clays tournaments. In addition, he owned his contracting business serving the surrounding area for many years until his retirement in 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by two sons, Casey Holder (Katie), and Josh Holder (Lauren); one grandchild, Zoey Holder; one brother, James William Holder, Jr. (Diane); one sister, Angela Pearman (Roger), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be conducted 4:00 PM Monday, May 28, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel Rural Hall. An informal visitation will follow the service.
