Mr. Frederick ""Fred"" Marshall Golice, 80, of Winston-Salem, passed away on December 4, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. Frederick was born on October 22, 1936 in Logan, West Virginia to Paul C. and Hellen Atkins Golice. He was a member of Konnoak Hills United Methodist Church where he was past president of the United Methodist Men's. He was retired from the Winston-Salem Police Department with 29 years of loyal service as Range Master. He then worked for the Forsyth County ABC Department for 12 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Auline Barker and one brother, Paul Golice. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Dotty Golice of the Home; nieces, Beth Doan, Susan Barker and Jacque Brammer, close relatives and his ""special buds"" Jack Matthews and wife Linda. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 9, 2016 at Konnoak Hills United Methodist Church with Pastor Ron Perry and Rev. Billy Hunter officiating. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Konnoak Hills United Methodist Church, 430 Weisner St, Winston-Salem, NC 27127.
