Gail Darlene Jessup Christman

Mrs. Gail Darlene Jessup Christman, 64, passed away October 3, 2025, peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Guilford County on September 22, 1961, to the late Arvid R. Jessup and Madlean True Jessup. Gail loved shopping, gardening with flowers, the beach, her dogs, but most of all her granddaughter and watching her ball games.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one niece, Candice Brittany Toler.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, David Michael Christman, one daughter, Brandi Michelle Hodges (John), one granddaughter, Henley Grace Hodges, and one sister, Robin Toler.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, October 10, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor Nick McCorquodale officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service in Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday evening, October 9, 2025, at the funeral home.

The family would like to express a Special Thank You to all her doctors and nurses that helped her in her time of need, Dr. Ronald Neal, Dr. Ajith Ramachandran and Nurse Nancy, Dr. David Mandalinich and special techs, Tonya and Tracie, and special doctors and nurses at Cone Cancer Center, Dr. Peter Rubin, Dr. Gustav Magrinat, Dr. Manning, Dr. Zachary Vaslow, and Nurses Kim and Judy, Dr. Cornett, Dr. David Newman, Dr. Joseph Stern, and Dr. Thomas Ostergard. Thank you to all the Lab Techs, Infusion Techs at Moses Cone Cancer Center, all the therapists at Cone Neurotherapy, all the therapists at Adoration Home Health, also AuthoraCare Collective Hospice of Greensboro, all the churches that prayed for her, all the above and GOD gave Gail 8 more birthdays than expected. An extraordinary thank you to her friends Brandyce, Will, and Lucas Joyner for all your love and support during Gail’s illness.
