Gail Ann Phelps

Gail Ann Rominger Phelps, 83, of Clemmons, passed away Monday, June 30, 2025, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.

Mrs. Phelps was born November 9, 1941, in Forsyth County, to Thurman Rominger and Elsie James Rominger. In addition to her parents, Gail was preceded in death by her husband, George Wiley Phelps; one son, George Emory; one brother, Clifford Rominger; and one sister, Jackie Beauchamp.

Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Timothy Phelps, and Kyle Phelps; one daughter, Amanda Ramsey (Scott); two grandchildren, Micah, and Bobby (Brittany); one great-grandson, Matthew; one brother, Buddy Rominger; one sister, Phyllis Forrest; two special nieces, Debbie Snyder, and Kathy Bailey; and special friend of the family, Faron Shore.

A graveside service will be held 1PM Saturday, July 5, 2025, at First Christian Church of Clemmons with Pastor Mike Duffield officiating.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 to 12:30 Saturday at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home Kinderton Chapel.
