Gary Harp

Mr. Gary Gray Harp, 59, passed away at his home on Sunday, May 13, 2018. He was born in Winston-Salem on March 8, 1959. Gary owned and operated Harp Auto Sales for 23 years. His family remembers him as a "jeans and flannel kind of guy" with a down-to-earth nature and a giving spirit. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and particularly followed Dale Earnhart, Sr. Most of all he was a caring husband, father, and grandfather. Gary was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy C. Harp. Surviving are his loving wife of 22 years, Brenee K. Harp; children, Shanna Harp Corwin (Stanley), Jessica Harp Jones (Jonathon), Clifton Gray Harp, and Caitlyn Dru Harp; and four grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, May 21, 2018 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek.
