Gary Parks Henderson

Mr. Gary Parks Henderson, 69, passed away Friday, February 2, 2024, at Forsyth Medical Center.  He was born in Forsyth County on July 20, 1954, to the late Luther Parks and Lucille Grubbs Henderson.  Mr. Henderson graduated from North Forsyth High School and Western Carolina University where he played football.  He enjoyed gardening, lawn care, and cooking.  Mr. Henderson was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.   Preceding him in death was a son, Jason Henderson.  Surviving is his wife, Debbie Henderson; son, Chris Henderson; daughter, Jenna Henderson; four grandchildren, Kaylee, Eli, River, and Ryker; also surviving are a sister, Sandra Henderson and brother, Ronnie Henderson (Beth).  A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, February 9, 2024, at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel with Dr. Cecil Cave officiating.   Burial will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.  The family would like to thank his football friends from North Forsyth High School and Western Carolina and also his friends of Bob.
