Gary Lemar

Gary Lemar, 74, of Belews Creek, NC passed away on Monday, September 14, 2026, at his home. He was born to the late Don Lemar and Marcie Shields Lemar on February 23, 1952, in Guilford County, NC.

Gary graduated from Northwest Guilford High School. He went on to proudly serve in the Marine Corps. Gary enjoyed reading books, fishing, and watching old westerns in his free time. Although the time with his children was limited, they were the light of his life. Gary cherished every moment he had with them and missed them till his last breath.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his son, Jason Lemar; and daughter, Bridgette Broadstreet.

He is survived by his brother, Tony Lemar (Brenda); and sister, Jasmine Levy Banker (Brad).

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Sandy Ridge Methodist Church Cemetery.
