Gary Edson Lowstetter, 73, passed away at his home on Sunday, November 9, 2025. He was born on October 31, 1952, to Fred and Evelyn Lowstetter in Pittsburgh, PA. He retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. Gary was the best father anyone could ever ask for. He will be dearly missed.

Gary was preceded in death by his loving wife, Jean Saintsing Lowstetter and a brother, Jim Lowstetter. Surviving are his son, Brandon Lowstetter; sisters-in-law, Pam Lowstetter and Anne Saintsing Amos; nephews, Charlie Amos, Ben Amos and Michael Lowstetter; niece, Jamie Lowstetter; close friends, Tom and Anita Castriota, Marilyn and Dan Stempkowski, Ralph Case, Mark and Diane Wilson; and his canine companion, Bella.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Midway Church Cemetery, 9795 Old US 52 South, Lexington, with Dr. Mark Key officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Choir Fund at Midway Church, or to Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church 3543 Robinhood Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27106.
